OMG!  I finally did it!  The past 2 weeks I have been overwhelmed and consumed with fixing my website.  Since I decided to change my career I have been fully dedicated to my clients and offering quality information on my website and social media.  The problem was, I had no idea what I was doing.  All my efforts were getting lost and beginning to look like chaos.  I was beginning to get super discouraged. 

Every time I sat down to “fix it” I got stuck.  I would lose content, the format would change or some other crazy technicality.  I was expressing my frustrations to my cousin and she let me have it!  We are both straight shooters so her critiques were given with no sugar coating, but I knew they came from a place of love and good intentions.  I might add, I knew she was right. 

My website sucked!  There was nothing inviting about it.  How could I want people to come to me when spending 2 minutes on my site gave zero information on what I do, why I am qualified and most importantly, how to get in touch with me!  We brainstormed together and came up with a plan of action.  I cancelled all my plans for the following day and the obsession began.

This time I was smart about it, I called the support company that hosts my website.  I explained all my goals and a course of action was established.  I hired them to teach me how to build my site.  I took a few lessons a day and after 2 weeks my baby is born!  It sounds so cliché, but that is how I feel.  I have been watching all my ideas progress from conception to birth.  I can honestly say, “I did this all by myself!”  It may be boasting, but OMG!  I am so proud of myself!

I hope someone is reading this and are getting the message that they can do it!  You can literally do anything you put your mind to.  2 weeks ago, I would have told you I was a computer illiterate and technically challenged.  Today, I can help you with web design, develop codes, create banners, install a widget, find the proper plugin and so much more!  Don’t misunderstand me, I do not want to do these things, but I CAN!!!!
